FALL IS FINALLY HERE! After enduring months of very hot weather we are excited to welcome the new season, anxiously anticipating cooler days and that beloved holiday. Yes you guess it, Thanksgiving and if you are hosting dinner this year don't worry we have you covered.
Learn how to set up the perfect table this holiday, it's simple:
Step 1. Indoor vs Outdoor
This can be determined by the number of guest and the space available in your home. For example, if you have a small dinning room but have a large crowd to accommodate, consider your own backyard.
Step 2. The Table
Table too small, no problem... chic is in! Gather tables and chairs from your friends and neighbors to assemble a chic table big enough for the entire family, missed matched chairs give a rustic feel and lots of character. Can't find sufficient tables? Easy, buy inexpensive folding tables at your local superstore, add a touch of elegance with a beautiful tablecloth. Pick a solid hue for a clean look or experiment with a bright floral pattern for a pop of color.
Step 3. Flowers
Flowers are unlike anything else, simply said... they are good for the soul. If you are not into large traditional candle centerpieces, no sweat? Designing small vase bouquets is easy, start by collecting several short vases in different shapes and sizes. Try your local antique store for fun vintage vases or keep it simple with all clear glass. Choose one to five different flowers that speak to you in colors that complement your Thanksgiving décor. Fill the vases with an array of your chosen blooms, try combining all five types of flowers on each vase to create a cohesive look.

Step 4. Chargers & Place Settings
I recommend opting for chargers or place settings not both, keep it simple and streamline. They should be neutral to allow the table to be cohesive and choose a contrasting color, for example; if the table is dark, select white, silver or gold chargers. Should the table be light consider copper, bronze or natural wood.
Step 5. Dishes
Mix fun dishes in bold playful patterns with neutral color napkins for a lively combination, or keep it simple by selecting both white dishes and napkins for a sophisticated, timeless feel.
Step 6. Candlelight
Create a relaxing atmosphere by adding candlelight, combine both traditional and non traditional styles such as votive candles and lanterns.
Step 7. Accents
Conclude by adding accents that speak to you, dried berries, squash, birds, pumpkins, etc. the possibilities are endless.
